01 · Overview

Scope and our privacy approach

This Privacy Policy applies to Eco Paw Spa’s website, booking tools, customer accounts, grooming operations, billing records, service communications, and related mobile grooming services. It does not control a third party’s independent website or service.

We collect information needed to schedule and deliver grooming, communicate with customers, process payments, maintain business records, protect accounts, and improve service. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

03 · Purpose

How we use information

  • Evaluate, schedule, route, confirm, change, and complete appointments.
  • Maintain customer, pet, staff, invoice, payroll, tip, and grooming records.
  • Process payments, deposits, gratuities, refunds, receipts, and billing support.
  • Send requested service messages, reminders, arrival updates, security notices, and optional care updates.
  • Provide customer accounts, private calendar feeds, downloadable invoices, and appointment management.
  • Detect abuse, secure the platform, troubleshoot errors, comply with law, and enforce our terms.
  • Understand service demand, improve routes and customer experience, and develop the business.
  • Respond to questions, privacy requests, disputes, emergencies, and customer-support needs.

04 · Location

Geolocation, ZIP checks, and maps

The website asks for browser location only after you select “Use my current location.” If permission is granted, coordinates are sent to BigDataCloud to identify a ZIP code. Eco Paw Spa uses the returned ZIP to check standard service coverage and does not save those browser coordinates through this feature. You can always enter a ZIP instead.

The service-area page embeds Google Maps. Loading or interacting with the map may allow Google to receive technical information such as your IP address, browser details, and map interactions under Google’s own privacy terms. Appointment addresses and route information used internally for service delivery may be retained with the appointment record.

05 · Disclosure

When information is disclosed

We may disclose information to groomers and authorized staff who need it to operate the business; to Stripe for payment processing and billing tools; to Twilio or another communications provider for service messages; to Google Maps, BigDataCloud, calendar providers, hosting, security, backup, and technical vendors; and to professional advisers supporting lawful business needs.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect people or animals, investigate fraud or security issues, enforce agreements, or complete a business transaction such as a merger or sale subject to appropriate safeguards.

Service providers receive information for defined operational purposes and are expected to protect it. Their independent features may also be governed by their own policies.

06 · Protection

Retention, cookies, and security

We retain information only as reasonably needed for the purposes above, including future care continuity, account access, customer service, payment and tax records, dispute resolution, safety, security, backup, and legal obligations. Retention periods vary by record type. When information is no longer reasonably needed, we delete, anonymize, or securely isolate it as appropriate.

The site uses essential cookies and similar session technology to keep forms, accounts, authentication, security, and preferences working. We do not currently use those tools to sell personal information or deliver cross-context behavioral advertising.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including access controls, password hashing, secure transport, signed links, and payment-provider tokenization. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security. Keep passwords and private calendar links confidential and contact us about suspected misuse.

07 · Control

Your choices

You may update account and pet details through the customer portal, manage or cancel eligible appointments, rotate a private calendar link, decline browser-location permission, enter a ZIP manually, and change optional marketing preferences. Operational messages necessary for an active appointment, account, payment, or security matter may continue.

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete information, subject to identity verification and legal or operational exceptions. You may also ask questions about retention or service-provider disclosures. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

08 · California

California privacy rights

California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, when that law applies to the business and information. These can include rights to know or access, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and receive equal service when exercising rights.

Eco Paw Spa does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Where legally required, we will recognize applicable opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control. We may verify a request by matching information already associated with you and may retain information when an exception applies, such as completing a transaction, maintaining security, or meeting legal obligations.

Submit a request by emailing stacy@ecopawspa.com or calling (951) 265-9929. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted; we may request proof of authority and identity. You may appeal or follow up using the same contact methods.

09 · Additional terms

Children, external services, and updates

The platform is intended for adults arranging pet-care services and is not directed to children under 13. Please contact us if you believe a child submitted personal information without appropriate permission.

Links or embedded services operated by others have their own privacy practices. Review those providers’ notices when you use their services. We may update this policy as the platform, vendors, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised date and provide additional notice when required.
